Welcome To The Martin Rathbone Golf Academy.

Professional - Relaxed - Friendly - Golf Lessons in Surrey.

Based at the fabulous Coombe Wood Golf Club in Kingston, Surrey, the Martin Rathbone Golf Academy offers a full range of Golf instructional lessons from total beginners to established and serious golfers.

We have many professionally structured packages and tuition is available for every age group from 5 year old juniors and upwards. Golf is not only a game that you can learn at any age, it is a game you can play for life. There are members at the golf club that are well into their 80’s and still playing regularly.

Our belief is that golf lessons should be fun and therefore Coaching takes place in a relaxed and friendly environment. Whilst keeping lessons fun for the total beginner we are still able to offer a more comprehensive tuition package to the established player.

Video Golf lessons are also available and we use the latest "C SWING" software to enable a clear understanding on changes required.

To receive the most from Video Lessons it is recommended that these are carried out over a 60 minute period. There is no extra charge for this facility but please advise us when booking that the video bay is required – Thank You.

Playing Golf lessons are available on this fabulous Surrey parkland course and can be over 6, 10, or the full 18 holes.

All other Golf lessons take place on the grass covered practise ground or sheltered swing bay. We have a dedicated short game area and a grass covered 9 hole putting green.

During every Golf lesson (except when playing on the course) golf balls will be provided "FREE OF CHARGE" so no extra charges on top of the tuition fee. (Some places do charge for this)
